Elmwood Raider Football -Weekly Update

Hello, this is Coach Hattier, and I just wanted to update everyone on our Football Offseason. Last Thursday  we had a a lot of fun cheering on the RHS Mountie Football Players as they set new records at the Lifting Showcase. Spring Break is here, and it is a perfect time to rest and spend time with family. Upon our arrival back to school we will have many fun, exciting events awaiting us. I have included our list of events that are in the near future.
     I do want to highlight our Parent Meeting on April 17th at the RHS Field House from 6:30 - 7:30. This will be a great time to discuss the awesome events that will be going on throughout the summer for Elmwood Raider Football, as well as our Telethon Fund Raiser that we will have on April 24th from 6:30-8:00 at the RHS Field House. For our Telethon Fund Raiser we are asking that our athletes provide 10 names of family members or friends that would be willing to  give a financial donation to The Elmwood Raider Football Program. All of the donation money will go directly back to our kids as it will provide needed equipment, and allow them to attend our summer events at minimal to no cost.
We encourage all parents to attend this very important meeting.

Exciting Events On the Horizon -

1. (April 17th at 7pm at the RHS Field House) - ***Parent Meeting to discuss Elmwood Spring Football, Elmwood Football Telethon Fundraiser, and our Summer Events.

2. (April 23rd -April 27th  from 4pm - 6pm at the RHS Football Practice Facilities) - ***Elmwood Spring Football Practices

3. (April 24th from 7pm - 8 pm at the RHS Field House) - ***Elmwood Raider Football Telethon Fundraiser.
***This is going to be an important event where our players help us to raise money that goes directly back to our kids for summer events and to benefit them by helping to supply various football needs.

4. (Date and Time  TBD)- *** Elmwood Raider Football / Signing Day Celebration
This is going to be a special celebrations where we recognize the commitment  and hard work of our Elmwood Raider Football Players. This is going to be a great time!!

5. (May 5th - Saturday from 8  -  10am  at the RHS commons / gymnasium)
***Free Physicals. We need all of our athletes to attend this important event and to get their free physical. This physical will be good for one full year.

6. (May 23rd - August 1st, every Monday - Friday from 9 -  10:30 am) -
***MAD Days Workouts begin. These are a lot of fun and a great way to stay in shape over the summer break.

7.  (July 12th , from 8am - 12 pm., at the RHS Football Practice Facilities)
***Elmwood Raider Football Team Camp

8. (July 19th- 21st) - Time is TBD)
***Elmwood Raider Football -  Flexbone Team Camp
This is going to be a tremendous time of learning our offensive system from top coaches around the country.  It is going to be an outstanding time!!
