Rogers High School Mountie Football Off Season Workouts for our current 8th Graders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our current 8th grade Football Players will be participating in the RHS Mountie Football Off Season Work Outs starting on Tuesday, January 3rd. They will conduct their Off Season Workouts at the RHS indoor training facility, and the RHS practice fields. Off Season workouts will be Tuesday - Friday, from 3:30 - 5:15. They will receive outstanding coaching, and will have the opportunity to work out and play in some of the best facilities in the State of Arkansas! This is going to be an outstanding time of improving conditioning, speed, quickness, strength, and football skills. They are going to have a great time in their pursuit to reach their full potential!!
An RHS Coach will pick them up from Elmwood by bus after school and take them to RHS for their Off Season Workout Tuesday - Friday. The athletes need to plan on having a ride home.
I also want to remind you to have all required paperwork completed and turned in to Coach Hattier if you have not already done so. (Physical, Medical History, and the District Guideline Acknowledgment Form). You must have all required paper work turned in before you are able to participate in the Elmwood Raider Football Off Season Program. Most of our athletes have already completed this process, and please disregard this reminder if you have already done so.

ELMWOOD RAIDER FOOTBALL OFF SEASON WORKOUTS for our current 7th Graders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are very excited about Elmwood Raider Football Off Season Workouts for our current 7th Graders starting on Tuesday, January 3rd. This is going to be an outstanding time where we improve our conditioning, strength, speed, quickness, and football skills. We are going to have a great time in our pursuit to reach our full potential! The Elmwood Raider Football Program is designed to enrich the lives of our athletes - athletically, and more importantly academically.
We will have our off season workouts Tuesday - Friday, from 3:15 - 4:15. We have four phases throughout our off season workouts. Each phase will emphasize different levels of preparation for the 2012 Elmwood Raider Football Season. Phase 1 will be from January through the middle of February. Here are the key elements within Phase 1.

Phase 1 (January 3rd -February 15th)
1. Introduction and Review of Football positions, technique, as well as offensive and defensive scheme.
2. Increase Conditioning, Strength, Speed, and Quickness.

3. Test at the end of Phase 1 in order to monitor the gains that our athletes have achieved with their Strength, Speed, and Quickness (40 yd. Dash, 5 - 10 - 5, Bench Press).
