Congratulations goes out to our Elmwood Raider Football Team as they beat Kirksey 19 – 13 and clinch the City Championship. This hard fought victory was led by Joseph Sultemeier and Daniel Salvador. This brings our football team's record to an

impressive 7 – 2. Our 2^nd game was equally impressive as our 2^nd game team extended their record to 8 – 4 – 2. They were led to an impressive victory by Jordan Hemphill. All of our players played an outstanding game, and we are very proud of them! Please come out and support us next week as we play Central Junior High in Springdale. This is sure to be an exciting grand finale to our season! Go Raiders!!!!

   Congratulations goes out to the entire Elmwood Raider Football team for their performance against Oakdale in our 36-14 victory, and our outstanding performance for the second game. We are very proud of each and every player! We are getting better every week, and it is awesome to see our hard work pay off!! We will continue to work hard and to finish the season strong!!

Courageous Movie Night - at Rogers Towne Plaza Cinema on Saturday, October 15th

    We are having a movie night on Saturday, October 15th at the Rogers Towne Plaza Cinema. The movie (Courageous) will start at 7, and we will meet up at Ci Ci's across from the theatre at 5:45 to eat before the movie. Courageous is an outstanding movie with a great message! It is sure to be a great time!! We are encouraging parents to attend as well. The cost of the movie is $9.50 per person. Money is due by this Wednesday so that I can secure our tickets. Go Raiders!!!!

      We have sent out invitations to our parents to join our new Elmwood Raider Football Flickr group via email. It is an exciting way to access and organize our team pictures throughout the season. We have 221 team pictures uploaded to the Elmwood Raider Football Flickr group and it continues to grow as the season progresses. You can create picture print outs of various sizes, create collages, post cards, photo albums and more. -          We will start right at 9:00. Each team will play 4 20-minute sessions.

-          The schedule has been modified to allow for the 4-minute break between each session.

-          Everyone will start two sessions on offense and two sessions on defense.

Bentonville Jamboree on Saturday, October 15th

Announcement:
We will participate in another Bentonville Jamboree on Saturday, October 15th, from
9:00 - 11:00 am. It will be a 6 team round robin tournament that is designated for our athletes who usually play in our second games. All of our players will have a lot of participation and will have an outstanding time. We will play 4 games of 20 minutes per game. We will take a school bus to the Jamboree, and will be back at the field house at around 11:30.

      Hello Raider Family. We are excited about the new addition to our ability to communicate effectively with our athletes and parents. Welcome to the Elmwood Raider Football Blog. We are still updating our Elmwood Raider Football page, and eventually the information on this Blog will match the information provided on our Facebook page. In order to better inform our parents of the many benefits of this valuable new tool we will have a parent meeting in the RHS field house meeting room after our 1st and 2nd game vs. Lingle this Thursday. It will be a quick meeting to simply inform our parents and athletes on how to easily utilize this resource to stay informed on the many great things that are going on with RHS and the Elmwood Raider Football Team. This is going to be a great time, and we look forward to seeing you there!!
